Is your university listed in UKNaric?

I've just filled up a new form for postgraduate admission issued by the Centre for Postgraduate Studies, IIUM. One part of the form requires checking of the applicant's alma mater status - whether or not it is recognised by different bodies like Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA). Another recognising body is UKNaric.

This is how you check whether an academic institution is listed in UKNaric or not.

1. This is the login page: www.naric.org.uk/naric. Use the username and password supplied by your own institution.

2. At the landing page, scroll down until you see 'Online Databases' (shown in the next image)

3. You'll get a new tab. Scroll down until you see 'International Comparison'. Click on it.

4. At the landing page, scroll down and click on 'Institutional Listing'.

 5. You'll see an alphabetical list of countries. Select the country (e.g. 'I' and then 'Indonesia'). You'll see a list of all the universities in Indonesia that are included in the UKNaric listing. You may want to use the 'Find' menu (Ctrl+F) from your (Chrome) browser to locate the institution.

And you're done.
