Creating a fortune
Some people HOPE to stumble into good luck. Some would actually PREPARE for it. These two approaches reflect differing mindset with regards to obtaining good fortune in life. In a 'magical' world, good luck does present itself to the lucky recipient. Even in a real world, this perhaps happen sometimes. But, to acknowledge such thing as truly and purely happening by chance would require the nullification of cause-and-effect laws. Things does not happen at random. We say things happen by chance because we do not (yet) see the chain of events leading to the good fortune. In other words, 'luck' is what we have in the absence of a plausible explanation.
Those who believe in preparing for good outcomes are more realistic. Perhaps they do acknowledge the lack of explanatory power. None the less, there is a strong belief in the cause-and-effect law. So, in order to obtain a good fortune, enough foundations have to be laid out. If you want to gain RM100, you have to put enough efforts that would be worth at least that much. It has to be said that sometimes the foundations that we lay may not lead to the expected (or hoped for) outcomes. There are other forces operating in the causal link that removes the expected outcomes from the equation. To these unforeseen forces, we have to be patient. As muslims, we PREPARE for good outcomes. In addition, we should PRAY to Him to grant our wish. If it was not meant to be, then don't be disappointed. We might not know and understand the chain of event comprehensively. But He does. For He is All-Knowing and Wise. We do believe in his wisdom, don't we?
To get good fortunes, we have to WANT it, PREPARE for it, and PRAY for it. Once we get it, we have to be THANKFUL. If we don't get it, be PATIENT, and TRY again. Or CREATE another fortune.
